GIS Day at the Capitol March 14, 2013 GIS Day at the Capitol is a unique opportunity for the public and private sectors to highlight the uses of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and to showcase how the technology is being used as a decision-making tool throughout the state of Oklahoma. On Wednesday, March 14, 2012, 43 public and private agencies demonstrated the power of GIS to the legislators of Oklahoma. Thank you to all the people in the GIS community. Come join us on March 14, 2013, on the second and fourth floor rotundas in the State Capitol Building from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm as we celebrate the 19th anniversary of GIS Day at the Capitol in Oklahoma.
